Motion Art

Motion Art

Animation as digital art is not merely entertainment or commercial storytelling in the sense of Pixar or Disney.

In my practice, animation is understood as an autonomous artistic language, where movement, time, image and sound are composed with the same intention as painting, music or installation.

My animated works function as living images:

they unfold slowly, breathe, and invite contemplation rather than narrative consumption.

Motion is used not to illustrate a story, but to activate symbolism, emotion and sensory presence.

A fundamental aspect of this practice is that the music accompanying the animations is also composed by myself.

Image and sound emerge from the same artistic source, forming a coherent audiovisual body.

This unity transforms each animation into an authentic, author-driven artwork, rather than a collaborative or outsourced media product.

These works can take the form of:

  • immersive gallery installations
  • hybrid exhibitions combining prints, screens and spatial sound
  • experimental audiovisual pieces
  • or blockchain-based editions (NFTs), where the artwork exists as a complete digital entity

Rooted in what I define as the Renacimiento Fantástico, my work reactivates myth, the human figure and symbolic imagery through contemporary digital means, restoring to digital art a sense of aura, presence and poetic depth.

Technology is never the subject — it is the invisible medium through which the image regains its power.
